Swell Types

Swell Types is a lesser fork of the Fell Types.

The Fell Types are missing some characters I wanted. I am kludging in these characters into the font using fontforge.

Unless you need these characters, it is probably way better to use the Igino Marini version of the Fell Types. He knows what he's doing, I don't.

Regular

• ẽ -- Unicode U+1EBD (7869 decimal)
• q̃ -- Unicode U+0071 (113 decimal) plus U+0303 (771 decimal)
• ~ -- Unicode U+0303 (771 decimal). Note, don't copy this character, it isn't actually a tilde, it's a combining tilde.

Italics

• ẽ -- Unicode U+1EBD (7869 decimal)
• ũ -- Unicode U+0169 (`361 decimal)

Fell Types

The Fell Types were originally created by John Fell (23 June 1625 – 10 July 1686).
